1_ En qué estoy trabajando/What I am working on??
Ahora mismo estoy retomando mi objetivo de julio: Cambiar el aspecto del blog. Espero dedicarle el tiempo que necesita esto durante las dos semanas de agosto que estaré de vacaciones. :D Mi intención es diseñármelo yo. Por este motivo me apunté a este curso en A Beautiful Mess. Además, Marta de Agencia Moderna me va a echar un cable! Menos mal!Hasta el momento, lo que he podido hacer es practicar el Brushscript con la tablet y a la antigua!
Currently, I am working on my summer goal: create a new blog. A new one that I like... and I'm trying to making it by myself! With this in mind, I bought this class on A Beautiful Mess and also, a friend of mine is going to give me a helping hand.
For now, I have been practicing on my brushscript with my tablet and with real brush too!
2_De qué manera se diferencia tu trabajo del resto del mismo género? /How does your work differ from others of its genre?
Creo que aún me queda recorrido para encontrar mi voz y mi estilo y sobre todo, cada vez que hago una página de PL siento que estoy todavía investigando cómo me gustan las cosas. Aún así, sé por dónde empezar: quiero que mis trabajos sean frescos, que no den la sensación de abarrotamiento, que sean alegres y que haya espacio en blanco. Darle pinceladas gráficos y artísticos también son dos de mis toques preferidos. :)
I do not think I own a strong voice or a clear style yet. When I am working on a PL page I always feel like I am researching deep how I like things to be. That said, there are some starting points that I do know I like: fresh and clean look. Unbusy pages. Fun works and plenty of white space. I also like graphic and artistic touches :)
3_ ¿Por qué creo lo que hago?/Why do I create what I do?
Porque me ayuda a mantenerme mentalmente sana. Por lo que me hace feliz y me da un motivo más para estar orgullosa de mi misma con las cosas que creo y del camino que he hecho hasta ahora. La verdad es que no me planteo si quiero crear. Me siento (casi cada día) delante de mi mesa y hago algo. Es una fuerza que me empuja, me anima a mejorar y no hay más! lo tienes que hacer! Además, si encima inspiro a otras personas, ya no tiene precio.
Concretamente, hago el Project Life por encima de otro tipo de scrapbooking porque me fascina y me divierte muchísimo!
It is a way of keeping me sane. So that makes me happy and gives me another reason to be proud of myself and about the things I create and the path I am doing. The truth is that I do not set out If I want to create. I just sit down in front of my desk and make things (nearly) every day. It is like a force that pushes me, encourages me and you just have to do it! ;D Also, If I get to inspire other people... that has no price!
4_¿Cómo funciona tu proceso creativo?/ How does your creating process work?
Recientemente, he podido constatar que funciono por colores principalmente.
Recently I have confirmed that I function with colors mainly.
En en caso concreto del PL, primero escojo las fotos con las que voy a trabajar, luego las distribuyo sobre los protectores y añado las notas que quiero que salgan reflejadas esa semana.
Speaking of Project Life: I first choose the photos I want to work with, then I sort them on the pockets of the page protectors. At this point I also leave some notes about things I want to appear on that week.
Then, I stare at the photos and the colors that goes on them. I search cards and embellishemts that I think that go well together.
Alguna vez, empiezo con algo pensado (un tipo de bolsillo, un alpha espcial, una tarjeta que me gusta, etc) pero normalmente suele surgir de no sé dónde cuando estoy en plena faena!

At this point I start to move things around until there is something that I like. Sometimes, I begin with an idea on mind (a special type of pocket, an alpha that I like, one beautiful card) but usually ideas comes out when I am working on in the middle of the storm :D

Soy Xènia y hago scrap desde 2011 aunque el punto de inflexión y enganche total fue el Scrap & Art de 2012 organizado por KdS. Allí hice mi primer LO, experimenté con el gesso y aquarelas y conocí a mis primeras amigas scraperas. Mi estilo es una mezcla de clean&simple y free style. Me gusta explorar y descubrir, probar nuevas técnicas y retarme con nuevas dificultades... algunos de estos experimentos no ven nunca la luz :D
Me encanta este hobbie porque estimula mi creatividad y lo mejor es compartirlo con la gente maravillosa que he conocido durante este tiempo.

Hola!! Sóc l'Esther, una catalana de 37 anys. M'agrada dedicar el meu temps lliure al scrap. De fet, disfruto com una enana jugant amb pintures, tintes i les meves propies mans!! Mini-albums, art journals, pagines 30x30...el que fagi falta!
Quan em poso seria i toco de peus a terra em guanyo la vida com a enòloga. La veritat és que no em puc queixar, perque és una feina que m'apassiona i que alhora és també molt creativa;)
Sóc una persona plena d'energia i vitalitat, algo que ara necessito tant o més que l'aire que respiro ja que també sóc, i desde fa només un mes i mig, una mare inexperta i cagadubtes d'una princeseta que em té el cor i totes les hores del dia i la nit robades! :D
