Plantilla de Marzo de Kits de Somni

Buenos días!

Las interpretaciones de la plantilla de marzo se publicaron el viernes aquí! Seguro que ya habéis visto las maravillas de mis compañeras :D
De la mía, tengo que decir... que no salió lo que esperaba, pero bueno, probé! Y aunque no me gusta mucho, ese día tan chulo, está ahí documentado!

Primero puse una capa fina con gesso sobre la parte de la hoja donde colocaría las fotos. Y un poco por donde quería hacer las partes redondeadas.
Para los círculos, utilicé pasta de modelar en el borde de objetos circulares: la tapa de la pasta de modelar, un porta CD, un bol, un plato, etc para conseguir que quedara bien redondo y los estampé. :D
Cuando todo estaba seco cogí gelattos amarillos y verdes y pinté sobre la hoja. Después eché agua y dejé que hiciera gotas.

No se ve bien, pero escogí este papel porque hay una cuadrícula circular por todo el papel. Así que la pasta de modelar sigue algunos de los círculos del papel estampado.
La idea era hacer algo parecido a las ondas del agua y que tuviera un punto "cósmico" jaja

En fin, fue divertido. Debajo os dejo la plantilla del mes! Animaos a participar!

Hello there! March Sketch of Kits de Somni went live last friday. You can check out the fabulous intepretations of my colleagues here.
About mine... well, it didn't come out what I had on mind and I do not really like it but I tried out.
I used gesso on the part of the page where I planned to place the photos and also at the bottom where the circles were going to be highlined.
For the circles, I used light modeling paste on the edge of some things I found: modeling paste cover, cereal bowl, CDs case, a plate... Circles with diferent diameter...  And then, I stamped them on top pf the paper. :D After everything was dried I used gelattos and some water. You can not notice it but the paper has a circle grid. I wanted to emulate water waves and some kind of cosmic feel haha. This is because of that day theme's show. It was all about light. The tittle of the show was: Light on/in the waves.
Well, it was funny to make despite of the result.

Plantilla Febrero Kits de Somni

Buenos días!

El viernes pudisteis ver la plantilla de febrero en el blog de Kits de Somni. Por si no la visteis os la dejo aquí! :P
Me encantó la composición de la plantilla de este mes. Esa parte de la derecha separada... Me pareció de lo más interesante!
Luego, no acabó de salirme lo que pensaba pero me gusta bastante! Sobre todo el papel rosa que lo guardaba para una ocasión especial... y ahí está!

La chapita es de Gigi et Moi. Su nueva colección. Al tener tonos neutros se pueden utilizar en casi todos los proyectos!<3

La ampersand negra de plástico y el marco de plástico transparente de Sodalicious.

On friday, you could take a look at the sketches of the month on Kits de Somni's blog. 

It was an interesting sketch for me...  I loved this divided part on the right. Although it didn't quite come out what I want.
I was hoarding this pink paper for a special ocassion and that was it!
The badge is from Gigi et Moi and the plastic ampersand and frame are from Sodalicious.

Algunos detalles:

Para hacer este layout, utilicé una plantilla chevron de Studio Calico y spray Color Shine Gold. Quedó un efecto muy sutil en la página, que es el que buscaba para no sobrecargar el layout.

También hay algunos sellos estampados en gris por la página... A ver si los veis! ;)

Plantilla de Noviembre KdS

Antes de ir por faena... :D Os quiero agradecer a tod@s el entusiasmo y la participación en el sorteo! Me estoy riendo mucho con vuestros comentarios. Ojalá hubiera para todas... El día que me vaya de ermitaña a la montaña... Os lo dejaré todo, prometido ;)

Hoy os traigo mi interpretación de la plantilla de Noviembre de Kits de Somni. Esto de que estuviera un poco inclinada fue un reto interesante... Os animo a que veáis el resto de interpretaciones del equipo de diseño y os lancéis a probar! Ya sabéis que si ganáis tenéis descuento en la tienda!

Aquí un pequeño detalle del fondo de la página: Utilicé pasta de modelar con una plantilla de The Crafters Workshop y cuando estuvo seca la pasta, spray verde encima. El resto, un poco de layering e intentar seguir la plantilla :P

I wanted to thank you for your excitement with the raffle... I am having such a good time, reading your comments! I hope I had a lot of goodies for you all! I will let you know, when I quit everything and I head to the montains and leave all my things behind ;)

Today I want to show you the sketch of November of Kits de Somni. It was an interesting challenge to work with this composition at an angle. Do not forget to check out the rest of the design team take on it. And do not forget you can join the challenge and win a disccount for the shop!

In the close up, you can see a detail of the modeling paste. Once it was dried I sprayed green mist. The rest is layering and trying to follow the sketch :D

Cluedo Party :: Plantilla Agosto KDS

Buenos días (y buen regreso a la realidad también!)
Espero que hayáis pasado un buen agosto allá donde hayáis estado! :D Habéis podido ser creativas? Habéis scrapeado like crazy?
Yo lo he intentado pero me ha parecido que en ocasiones, luchaba contra los elementos... (Elemento calor, básicamente :D)
Por suerte, ha habido momentos donde la cosa fluía... y en una de estas ocasiones, aproveché para inspirarme con la plantilla del mes de Agosto de Kits de Somni

En cuanto vi la plantilla, me pareció que tenía que ser un 8.5 x 11'' y como nunca había hecho ninguno en este formato, fue aún más desafiante.

Me gusta la cantidad de capas que hay en este layout. Y el hecho de haber trabajado cómodamente con un estampado tan vintage.  

El layout y la mayoría de elementos de la página acompañan el tema que fue una cena/rol de época sorpresa en la que había una trama y yo tenía que averiguar quién era el asesino. :D
Puede ser más divertido?! Una suerte contar con amigos tan creativos y generosos :*

Como pequeño detalle... La pluma que llevo en la mano en esta foto, es la pluma de este layout.

Hi there and happy routine comeback! ^^'

I hope you have had a nice summer whererver you have been and whatever you've been doing! Did you get creative? Did you scrap like crazy?

That was my idea but I found it really hard to fight against the hot summer days. Fortunately, I had some moments where everything flowed and I sized them! :D
In one of those occasions, I worked on Kits de Somni August sketch. As soon, as I saw the sketch I thought it had to be a 8.5 x 11 inches layout and I started to work from there. It was my first time with this format and it was a little challenging. I love how the elements of the page help to tell the story of the photo. It was a suprise period dinner where I had to find out who was the murderer. How cool is that? :D I am lucky to have such a creative and generous friends! :*

And finally, just one last detail: The feather I am holding in the photo is the feather of this layout.
