Hoy os traigo mi interpretación del color combo de octubre de Kits de Somni. Como podéis ver en el moodboard de colores más abajo, éstos no son precisamente... alegres ni brillantes! :D A mí me transmitían algo tétrico y he de decir... que me encantaban :D Aún así, scrapear con estos tonos... Parecía algo complicado.
Después de varios intentos con acuarelas y con gesso por todas partes (y de acabar tirándolo todo...) ; di con una fórmula que me funcionó: Gesso en spray y lápices acuarelables NeoColorII. Unas cuantas rayas, un poco de agua con el pincel y voilà... esto:
Me gusta que los sellos en vertical, parece que sigan de alguna manera la estructura del edificio (no fue pensado así a propósito. Me encantó descubrir este detalle después)
El papel es de Sodalicious y BasicGrey. También utilicé un sello de Sodalicious y el de los círculos de Cocoa Daisy.
Como veis no hay muchos elementos decorativos, pero la verdad es que el fondo me gustaba tanto que lo último que quería era taparlo! Eso sí, el toque dulce de la flor azul, no pude evitarlo! Siento que de esta manera compensaba la "seriedad" del layout.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi there! Today is the turn for Kitsdesomni October Color Combo Sketch! You can see the colors are nor bright nor happy... I felt them quite sullen... and I must say: I liked them a lot! But I found it was really difficult to scrap with these tones. After several attempts with different kind of watercolors and gesso (and throwing everything away) I found a combination that worked for me: Gesso in spray and Neon color II. Some scribbles here and there, some water and voilà: that thing. I used Sodalious and Basic Grey paper and one stamp again from Sodalicious and another one from Cocoa Daisy. I didn't use a lot of embellishment because I didn't want to cover the background. I loved it. I couldn't help to use that blue flower, balancing somehow the "seriousness" of layout. Por fin llegó el día del Song Hop! La verdad es que en cuanto vi la iniciativa no dudé un instante en apuntarme. Me pareció una gran idea... Lo que no sabía, es que me costaría tanto! :) Pero vayamos por partes. Cada persona que participa en el blog hop tenía que enviar una canción significativa para ella. Y estas canciones, se enviarían aleatoriamente a otra participante que debía hacer algún craft inspirado por la canción. Podéis ver toda la información y el resto de "hops" aquí. Sin más dilación, la scrapera que me tocó fue:: Macarena! :D Me hizo mucha ilusión porque le cogí mucho cariño tras el AmyLoryWeekend. Y su canción es: "Te he echado de menos" de Pablo Alborán.
Empezar diciéndoos que la canción no la conocía xD No es la clase de música que suelo escuchar pero una vez abrí el link, la verdad es que me pareció muy bonita... y muy romántica. Y aquí, amigas, tenemos el problema! :D
Actualmente, no reparto amor de ese tipo, así que no tenía a nadie a quién dedicárselo y tras pensármelo mucho, mucho decidí que no quería scrapear sobre el pasado. Así que tras darle vueltas y más vueltas :D caí en que sí echaba de
menos a alguien. No de esa manera tan intensa, pero sí de alguna otra...
Imaginaos aquella persona con la que os cruzáis cada mañana en el bar cuando os tomáis el café o ese chico/hombre que con el que siempre coincidís en el autobús... Ese desconocido con el que igual habéis cruzado algunas palabras quizás, pero del que no sabéis nada... Pues ésa es la idea de esto.
Al pensar en ese "desconocido" que de repente, se ha esfumado, me inspiré como sigue:
"Pssst!, Hey you, Yes you, stranger... I wrote something for you on the wall..." "Psst! Ey, tú, desconocido. Sí, tú desconocido... Te he escrito algo en la pared..."

Bajo la persiana se lee:

Esta imagen no es mía, la encontré buscando -corazón y puño- en google. Es de Pure Evil y me gustó en el mensaje. Seguir luchando y seguir amando. :D
El papel que me inspiró fue el blanco y negro con palabras. Luego me acordé de que tenía el papel gris con estampado de pared como de cemento. Entonces pensé que podía añadir mis frases en letra de grafitti y utilicé este programa. Los ladrillos los hice con una plantilla y con pasta de modelar. Luego los pinté con Distress ink: Tye Die, Fired Brick y Vintage Photo. Envejecí un poco los bordes de la tarjeta y el resultado final es el que veis: Esta tarjeta interactiva-pop up-art journalera :DD
Macarena, espero no haber destrozado el recuerdo de tu canción! :D
Quizás la tarjeta no es muy romántica... pero está hecha con mucho amor! :*
Ahora voy a mirar al resto de participantes y a ver a quién le ha tocado mi canción!
Hi there! The day of the Song Hop is finally here! When I saw the initiative I didn't hesitate to sign up. What I didn't know is that it would be such a hard time! But first things firts! :D Every person that signed up had to send her special song and everyone will receive another one to make a craft inspired by it. You can check all info and other hops here.
Let's go straight to the point: the person whom I received the song was Macarena! :D I'm so happy its her! I knew her from AmyLory weekend. And her song is: "Te he echado de menos by Pablo Alborán. I haven't heard the song before, but once I heard it I liked it. It is very romantic... And that was the problem. I don't profess that kind of love at this moment :D and I realized I didn't want to thing on the past, so after thinking and struggling a lot I remembered that I do miss someone. That kind of person you meet everyday at the coffeshop but you didn't know or that person you see everyday in the bus...
So that's the idea of this whole thing. This card is for this stranger, that suddenly dissapeared... :D In the inside of the card, you can see some bricks made with modeling paste and painted with distress inks: Tye Die, Fired Brick and Vintage Photo. I used a brush and some water to do it.
The smaller card in the inside is from Pure Evil. I liked the message: "Keep on lfighting, keep on loving"
And that's all, I hope I haven't spoiled the memory of Macarena's song! It is not a romantic craft but it is made with lot of love! Don't forget to check the other hopers here, please! Have a great weekend!
Bon dia! ^^ El pasado 21 de junio asistí al Taller de Iniciación al Scrap II de 100x100 Manualidades y hoy os quería enseñar el estupendo trabajo que hicimos aquella tarde. Me apunté al taller la misma semana tras ver el anuncio en Facebook. Comentaban que usaríamos pasta de modelar, gesso, tintas en spray... Y yo no necesité más! Me apetecía aprender más sobre estas técnicas, así que allá me fui! ^^ El taller lo daba Ana y bueno... Si habéis visto sus trabajos... Entenderéis que tuve mucha suerte de que lo diera ella! Esto es lo que nos enseñó a hacer: Hello there! Last June the 21st I went to the workshop Taller de Iniciación al Scrap II that took place at 100x100 Manualidades. I saw on Facebook they will be teaching about gesso, modeling paste and sprays... I didn't need more to sign up! :D The workshop was taught by Ana... And if you have checked her works out you know I was very lucky! This is what we learned:
El papel era totalmente blanco! Primero extendimos gesso y luego pasta de modelar sobre una plantilla... Y purpurina! :DD Le dio un efecto espectacular.
Después jugamos con los sprays Lindy's. Yo no los conocía y os tengo que decir que me encantaron los colores y el brillo que tienen. Son unas tintas con dos tonos que hace que al mezclarlas entre ellas consigas colores inesperados. Como si al mezclar un negro y un marrón, consiguieras un azul.
The base paper was totally white! We first spread some gesso and then some modeling paste over a stencil... and glitter! :D That gave and amazing touch. We played with Lindy's sprays. I didn't know them before and I have to say I loved the colours and the nice shine they have. The are two-toned inks and for that you can get an unexpected result mixing them.
La flor del broche la hicimos desde cero con pasta polimérica y el "hello" del bocadillo con una técnica sorpresa de embossing que nos enseñó Ana!
Las dos cintas que cruzan the arriba abajo el layout (lo podéis ver en la primera foto)venían en crema y en blanco y así quedaron tras colorearlas con sprays. Súper chulo!
The flower on the clothes pin was made with "pasta polimérica" and the hello of the bubble was made with a surprise embossing technique Ana showed us.
The two ribbons that can be spotted on the first photo were cream and white. We painted them with sprays. So awesome!
Aquí podéis ver de cerca la parte de la pasta de modelar, el gesso, la purpurina y los sprays. Nunca había hecho algo así!
Here you can see some close ups with modeling paste, gesso and the colour of the sprays. I've never done something like that before!
Utilizamos papeles de Crate Paper y también sprays de Heidi Swapp: Las flores creo que eran de Maya Road y vienen con la textura y el color de un canvas y al echarles spray tienes sorpresita! Como veis me lo pasé genial scrapeando, aprendiendo y hablando con Ana, que resulta que nos teníamos vistas de algo y no sabíamos de qué: Era del Scrap & Art weekend del pasado Octubre! :D
We used patterned papers from Crate Paper and also Heidi Swapp sprays. I think the flowers were from Maya Road .They come with the colour and the texture of canvas. When you spray over them you have a beautifull surprise!
As you can see I had a blast scrapping, learning and chating with Ana. We didn't know but we both attent to Scrap & Art weekend last October! :D
