Friday In Motion

Feliz Finde!]

[Wrapping up this week with this kind of little mix-media card :D that I showed you in this post. I love this tiny tubes of micah, crystals, embossing etc by Stampendous. I have them super hoarded... but this is the year of stop hoarding and let's use up what we have and let's experiment! Lately, I feel that I rush for everything and the few time I have I just run making what is urgent. There is no time to experiment with new things. I am so in the mood to experiment. I want to try things out on... layouts!
Do you have something that you want to scrapbook?

Have a great weekend!]

Yesterday I was at Sellos de Goma showing you how I made this Project Life spread and and this trasnparency for which I used this Eva letters. They are black and made of rubber but I got to emboss them with gold embossing. You can see the page process and the embossing in this video that I made for you.
For the page, I used this wood veneers in spanish that are so rad. I love the sentence. "This is the good life" and also the little triangles.
I also used the stamps as prompts to start my journaling and as embellishments.
I hope you like it and of course, I would love to hear your opinion about the video.
I am getting better, I promise! :D
Have a lovely day!

Project Life: Enero Once y Febrero Uno

Estoy bien.
Qué voy a decir!

Hasta pronto!

Starting February around here! (PL-ing speaking obviously! :D) I am already 1 month behind but I am not worried because I have been sick half of the month so I do not have much to tell and to document, so I hope I will be able to catch up!
This súper cool card with the black cat was a postcard from Xènia from Paris. This beauty arrived 1 month and a half later. Postal misteries...
I love that this card is 4x3 inches!! I didn't trimmed out a bit. Xènia is rad.
The second spread is about a daytrip. I went to a little village in the coast, Cunit. I used to spend a lot of days there when I was young with my school friends.
I love sea in the winter time, it brings you calm and cleans out your energy but... I will not lie... I rather the sea in the summertime! Can't-wait.
I showed you the process for the left hand page and the neon card here.
I also tried to use watercolors on this words but it didn't look good. Maybe I used too much water, but the thing is that I love the look with the ink!
On the right side I made another card with a SC stamp and this frozen card where I used those little "fragments of everything" that I also used in my 2013 December Daily.
I needed to document how cold it was and the day I got sick until today... and counting...
I will show you the process of this card on friday.
This week I will also bring you something especial. Can't wait to share it with you all!
Have an amazing day!

Friday in Motion

Feliz finde! :)]

[Last sunday I had some free time before going to a vermut (kind of brunch) with friends so I made this page in a few minutes!
I also tried to paint the white words with watercolors (as per the box said) but I didn't like it. I rather the look of the word with the ink pad directly onto it: rough and irregular. Looks like it has texture.
This weekend I can't sit down to scrapbook. It is going to be really unusual for me... But changes are good. How about you? Do you have any plan?
Have a great weekend!]

Me encanta regalar scrap!

Un abrazo

Last saturday the 14th, ( luv day as per the media ^^) I taught this workshop at El Taller de Santa Eulàlia to make this mini album-garland.

Being Valentine day, we decided to dedicate this album to all kinds of love. So each student chose the object of their album: lovers, friends, children, etc
The great part of being single when it comes to make albums like that is that I get to make a lot of mini albums for my friends. I LOVE to gift my friends with scrapbooking stuff. It makes me so happy.

We used many different textures like cotton, burlap, tulle, emboss... and the stamps by Sellos de Goma: love set and alpha set. They are awesome and the girls enjoyed them a lot.

Here, there is a snap I made with Timer Cam app where you an see us in action. I still have a big cold and I always go around with my scarf-blanket...
Finally, the last photo is for the girls with their albums finished. They were so happy!
And that made me happy too of course. :)
Next time we are getting messy! ;) I let you know more details soon!
Have a great day!

Project Life: Enero Siete-Diez

De verdad? Sí, de verdad! Este formato está dando mucho juego! :D

Feliz día!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Really? Really. This format is super playful. I case you didn't see this post on Porject Life Caf é yesterday (and in case you cannot read spanish :) ) I show you some of my new PL Pages.
Before I carry on, you have to know that there is one page missing that is going alive next week on Sellos de Goma +  a little extra.
I was playing around with the squared photos and it seemed they didn't fit well together, so I decided to cut in a half one large page protector and place each photo on either side.
I went to a well-know hamburguer restaurant here in Barcelona called Bacoa. I went in the middle of the week because the micro-wave from work died... and it was a great tasty experience. It also gave me some cooking ideas. Sweet potatoe inside a sandwich?? Yes, please!
I trimmed down a card of the restuarant and I worte some journaling there.
On the other side, I used a SC map card and some rubb-ons to make this simple but colorful card.
The next big page it really has no sense... But I LOVE IT. I love the airy delicate feeling of it and the fact that I can scrap just because.
The last page it is another simple one that contains a recurring joke between my cousin and I. It is the silliest but It is hilarious for us.
I love to document that kind of things. These are the best.
Have a great day!

Friday in Motion

Feliz fin de semana!]

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[ This is how I wrapped  the album I showed you yesterday: Just a cat face stamp from Studio Calico, a black ink and a piece of plain paper. Fast solutions when you run out of wrapping paper :D Have a great weekend!]

Mini Álbum: Marta & Rafa

scroll down for english text.

He disfrutado mucho haciendo este regalo. :D
Feliz día!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This mini book is a present that I wanted to make for Marta and her husband since some months ago. Finally last week I found some free time between kleenex and arctic weather.
I had a lot of ideas for their mini album, but at the time I saw this golden album on my shelves I knew it had to be for her.
This is my first time using  instagram Werememory keepers album and, of course, now it is on my list of addictions. Hi there. Welcome.
If you are looking to achieve a minimalistic work, this mini album is the best choice. It is small and there is no space for a lot of embellishments. So everything you add to it will stand out.
I chose very graphic and sophisticated papers. And sometimes, vintage ones because she likes rockabilly style.
Her furry little ones are very present in the album because, of course they are a very important part of their family, and this is what the album is about.

Marta is a great photographer ( and programmer, blogger, etc) Working with photos like these is the joy of every scraper in the world! :DD
Have a lovely day!

Project Life:: Enero Tres y Cuatro

scroll down for english version
Aquí sigo con mi Project Life locura. :)

(nervios!) :D
Feliz día!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here I am with my crazy Project Life. :)
These pages were made all at once when I sat down the first time to work on these sizes. Now, after having 5 more on my shoulders :D I want to say that I am super excited with this. It is great to be so in the mood to sit down to play again with my PL just for fun without pressure!
Let's make it last! :D
For the first two pages on 6x8 inches, I used this wood veneer by Sellos de Goma and a test letterpress card that I made last Christmas.
You can see me machine stitching 9x12 page protectors in the black and white card.
For the second layout, I used this pink flyer that I found  when I ventured myself in Kling shop (more about this will be documented later on :D) I trimmed down to make it fit in my pockets and I added a photo of the treasure that I found. :D
On the left side, there is this rafia card that I was hoarding for like 2 years... ( I still have one left! :/)
I also typed out the capture of my photo on the hot pink washi tape.

I hope my album arrives this week and I can finally show you ( and see  myself!) how this is going to look like!
Have a lovely day! ^^
