Scrap & Art Weekend, Parte II

Más vale tarde que nunca! ^^'
La segunda entrada sobre el fin de semana de talleres con las Polish girls! :)
Hubo dos clases sobre layouts. En las dos, "scraplifteamos" sus diseños. La verdad es que me me encanta mirar y analizar LO (los que me gustan) Intento descubrir qué es lo que me llama la atención de cada uno: El diseño? el espacio en blanco? el layering? la forma de aplicar los sellos? La combinación de color? Dónde ha puesto la foto, qué hay al lado, debajo? etc
Pero yo nunca hago LO :) (excepto aquí) La única respuesta que le encuentro es que no le veo el fin. Me gusta hacer minis porque disfruto, me gusta scrapear y para mí tienen una finalidad pero los Layouts... luego no sé qué hacer con ellos! Se podría pensar lo mismo de un cuadro o de hacer arte en si. No tiene por qué tener finalidad... Quizás es que simplemente no me apetece :D

Al last! The second post about weekend workshops with the polish girls! :)
We also had two layouts workshops. We scraplifted their designs in both of them. My truth is that I love to look at LO, analyze them and try to find out why I like them so much individually.: Is it the design? The negative space? Layering? The stamps? Combination of colour? etc
But I never make LO (except here) The only answer I found is that I don't see the point for them. I like to make minis because it's funny, I like to scrap but they also have a purpose for me. But LO... I don't know what to do with them once I have finished! I know I could also think the same as for paintings or just artjournaling... But simply I don't think the same. Maybe it is just because I am not in the mood to make layouts :D

De nuevo, fue alucinante ver de cerca (y poder tocar!!) sus layouts: los detalles, las texturas, el color. Los tres eran increíbles y los podéis ver aquí, aquí y aquí. (Lo siento! El de Nulka no lo encuentro ni en su blog, ni Flickr ni Pinterest...)
Again, It was amazing to look closer (and also to touch!) their layouts: the details, the textures, the colour. The three of them are awesome and you can find them here, here and here

Dejadme señalar lo espectacular que es el LO "Let's Get Away" the Anna-Maria( el segundo enlace) : Como el horizonte de la foto coincide con el borde de papel verde y por supuesto la explosión de color encima de gesso y las letras en purpurina resaltando arriba. Me encanta como la mitad superior casi en blanco equilibra la de abajo... Y como el cuadrado más pequeño crea aún más profundidad en la foto de la playa... Obra de arte!!

Let me point out why I think Anna-Maria LO "Let's get Away" is far impressive (second link): I like how the photo horizon match exactly with the edge of the green paper and also the colour explosion on top of the gesso and the glitter letters on top of that. I love how the upper half almost in white balance the busy base... and how the smaller square accent the depth of the photo in th beach... Piece of art!

Otra clase fue la del Mini de Jaszmurka. Muuuy chulo jugar con los sprays, las plantillas y la tinta china. :) Al más puro estilo Jasz!!
The other workshop was 1 Mini with Jaszmurka. It was very funny to play with sprays, stencils and indian ink :) Pure Jasz style!!

Finalmente, lo que os comenté en la anterior entrada, mis compis de mesa, super encantadoras y unas artistas... Y algunas: emprendedoras.

Finally, I told you in my last post something about the girls at my table... They were lovely, super artist and... some of them enterprising!!
Please, stop by at La Diseñería if you are close to Roses, North Catalunya. Núria has a beautiful scrap shop there. I have never been to there yet but the photos look really amazing!
