Bienvenid@s a mi gran Proyecto para el 2015. :)
Este 2015 voy a aprender los 2.042 kanji que se incluyen en este libro; que a su vez, son casi todos los que hay en la lista de uso cotidiano de un japonés. (Ellos cuando acaban el instituto saben unos 3.000)
Como mi libro es anterior a la reforma, me van a faltar 196 más, los cuales ya me espabilaré a encontrar. De momento, me "conformo" con los de este libro. :D
Por qué hago esto?
Porque me gusta. Me gusta MUCHO. Cuando iba al colegio ya me fascinaba su lenguaje y de hecho, yo siempre me decía a mí misma que uno de mis trabajos favoritos sería descifrar alfabetos antiguos, lenguas muertas... Por lo que para mí, el japonés tenía y sigue teniendo un punto de fascinación.
Como objetivo final, quiero vivir en Japón un tiempo. Me gustaría trabajar usando el japonés. Como trabajo en el sector del Turismo, espero poderlo hacerlo realidad de alguna manera. Y si no, en otro sector.
Así que para que suceda todo esto quiero aprender su idioma.
Cómo lo voy a hacer?
Esta idea nació en Noviembre del año pasado y en cuanto se me pasó por la cabeza empecé a buscar academias, pero en todas ya habían empezado el curso. Entonces recordé que ésta, no es la primera vez que intentaba aprender japonés y encontré 3 libros que hace años había comprado.
El último que encontré fue el de Kanji para recordar y me leí la introducción. En ella, Marc Bernabé explica que llegó a Japón para estudiar japonés y se encontró que las academias ya habían empezado el curso por lo que encontró este método mnemotécnico de James W. Heisig. Marc aprendió los 1.950 que necesitaba en ese momento en 6 semanas pudiendo dedicarse a ello buena parte del día. Los aprendió y no los olvidó.
Como tengo que ir a trabajar de 9-6 p.m no puedo dedicarle todo el día y además, por lo que sé, mis horas más productivas son por la mañana. Ya expliqué aquí que a medida que avanza la tarde, dejo de ser persona. :D
Mi método
Me estoy levantando todos los días entre semana a las 6:00 a.m y estudio entre 3/4 o 1 hora.
Cada día entre semana aprendo 8 kanjis; lo que hacen 40 a la semana.
Como el año tiene 52 semanas, al final de un año puedo saber 2080.
Estos 8 kanji que aprendo cada día me los llevo todo el día conmigo y voy repasándolos en cuanto tengo un momento.
8 kanji al día es un número asumible para mí. Y me aseguro de que me los aprendo bien y no sólo para pasar el examen. Quiero integrarlos.
Al final de la semana, repaso los 40 que he aprendido y los que no se me "han quedado bien" los sigo llevando cada día conmigo hasta que me los sé bien.
Al final del mes, me hago un examen.
Cuando expliqué mi plan a gente que conozco alguien me dijo: "Y qué pasa, que no vas a hacer vacaciones nunca?"
Es algo en lo que no había pensado :O
Como esto lo pensé en noviembre, decidí darme un mes más y en vez de hacer los 2042 en 12 meses, hacerlo en 13. Y así:
1_Tengo margen porque algún día no voy a poder sentarme en la mesa por el motivo que sea.
2_No tengo tanta presión.
3_Puedo hacer vacaciones :D
Mi primer examen:
Antes de empezar todo esto, sinceramente, no sabía cómo iba a llevarlo mi cerebro! Y la verdad, es que aún no sé cómo lo voy a llevar cuando lleve 500 acumulados. Voy a ser capaz? necesitaré más tiempo?
Llevo un mes siguiendo el método y el resultado ha sido el siguiente:
De 157 kanji que he aprendido, cometí 10 errores. Aquí veis las hojitas donde me auto examiné.
Si os he de ser sincera, pensé que fallaría menos! (hola, autoexigencia? :D) pero la buena noticia es que sólo había uno que no tenía ni idea. Al resto, o le faltaba un trazo o había cambiado componentes de lugar.
Cuál es el plan:
El plan es dedicarme un año a aprender bien, de verdad, los kanji que necesito (2.136 para ser exactos) para uno de los exámenes que quiero pasar. Después, apuntarme a una academia y aprenderme la pronunciación de los kanji (ahora sólo estoy aprendiendo el significado porque la pronunciación es otro mundo de locura a parte) y la gramática y demás conocimientos que se requieran.
Por qué no me apunto a una academia mientras aprendo lo Kanji? Porque por lo que he leído, no es compatible ya que en las academias usan otra manera de para aprenderlos y como estoy siguiendo un método concreto, es posible que me "explotara la cabeza" con varios métodos a la vez.
Esto no quita que yo, por mi cuenta vaya aprendiendo la gramática que pueda con los libros que ya tengo. Y por otra parte, hago mis listenings con los anime que veo por la noche.
El próximo mes os explico qué tal llevo el tema! ;)
Si tenéis alguna sugerencia o creéis que he pasado por alto algo básico, me encantaría oírlo. Porque aunque le he dado muchas vueltas, seguro que hay algo en lo que no he pensado. Aunque, bueno, el plan sigue abierto y será flexible según mis necesidades. :)

to my Big Project for 2015 :)
This
current year 2015 I am going to learn the 2.042 kanji that are included in this
book. These are almost all the kanji of Japanese regular-use. (When they finish
high school they know near 3.000)
The
book that I have is previous the new regulation, so I need to know 196 more. I
will try to find out which are those later on. But for the moment, let's say
that it is enough for me with 2.042 :)
Why am I doing this?
Because
I like it. I like it a LOT. When I was at school I was fascinated by their language
and what is more, I always said to myself that the perfect job for me would be deciphering
ancient or dead languages.
For me, Japanese had and still has an especial extreme fascination.
My goal
is to live in Japan for a while. I would love to work using Japanese language.
I am currently working on the tourism industry, so I think I can make it come
true in this sector. And if not, any other sector :)
And for make it happen, I am learning the language.
How Am I doing It?
That
idea was born on November 2013 and as soon as it hit me I started to look for
academies but all of them have already started their school year. And then, I
remembered that this wasn't the first time that I have tried to learn Japanese
and I found 3 books that I already had bought for self-studying.
The
last one I found in my parents place was the book you see above: Kanji to
remember I. I read the introduction by Marc Bernabé. He explained that he
arrived to Japan in order to study Japanese and he found all the academies have
already started the school year too. He found this book with a mnemonic
technique by James W. Heisig and he was able to learn 1.950 kanji in 6 weeks.
He learnt them and never forgot them.
As I
have to work from 9-6 p.m and I can't spend all they with this and as far as I
know now, I am more productive on mornings (I already explained here that as
the day goes on I stop being a productive :D) I need some more time.
My Method.
I am
waking up at 6:00 a.m and I learn Japanese for 45 minutes/ 1 hour.
Every
weekday I learn 8 new kanji, that is 40 a week.
As
the year has 52 weeks, at the end of the year I can learn 2.080.
These
8 kanjis that I learn every day I carry them with me all day long and I go over
again them as often as I can.
8
kanji a day is acceptable for me. And I make sure I am really learning them,
not just making it for the future test. I want to really know them. Integrate them well.
At
the end of the week I have learnt 40 and those of them that I have problems
with are kept with me for the next day until I know them.
At
the end of the month I test myself.
When
I explained this plan to my friends, one of them told me: And what, you are not
going to have holidays for a year at all?
THAT
is something I haven't thought about it.
As I
came out with all of this in November, I decided to give me one month more and
instead of making 2.042 in 12 months, I will make them in 13. This way:
1_I
have a leeway in case any day I can't sit down and study whatever the reason
is.
2_I
release pressure off me.
3_I
can make holidays :D
My first test:
Before
beginning with all of that I sincerely didn't know how my brain was going to
accept this whole new adventure. And still, I do not know how it is going to be
when I have 500/1000 kanji in me. Am I going to be able? Will I need more time?
I
have been doing it for a month and this is the result:
I
failed 10 kanji of 157 learnt. Above you see the pieces of paper where I self
tested me.
I
have to say that I was half disappointed. I hoped for less fails. (Hi self-
demanding Marta!)
But
the good news is that there was just one that I simply couldn't remember at
all. The rest of them I switched the components order or I forgot a trace.
What's the plan:
My
plan is dedicate that year to study the kanji fully and the best way I can.
These ( +196) are the ones I need for the official Japanese test that I want to
pass. After that I want to join in an academy and learn the pronunciation of these
kanji (at that moment I am just learning the meaning because the pronunciation
is a separate madness :D) grammar and the rest of knowledge that is
needed.
Why I
am not joining an academy while I learn these kanji? Because, they advise in
this book, that this method is not compatible with the ones that are used in
academies. It is possible that my head would explode if I make the two things
at the very same time. :D
That
not exclude that I can learn grammar and other things with my other books that
I have at my own pace. And also I watch and anime every night as often as I
can. Those are my listenings :D

month I tell you how I am doing!

basic and I haven't thought about it, please tell me.
I
have thought about this many times but sure I have missed out something.
For
the moment, this plan is quite open and flexible depending on my necessities :)
