Project Life:: Agosto Tres y Cuatro

Scroll down for english version.

With these two spreads, August is golden and just go to the archives. The more I look through these pages, the more I am thinking I am going to make a mini album! Yes, that is a mini menace! :D
I feel I left a lot of memories and photos aside in order to just keep going and catch up. Not talking about writing.. That deserves a completely chapter for itself. I feel the need to write more. But we'll see.

Althought, these photos tell the basic story: Enjoying the simple things of life. A day at the beach, a vermut (a kind of brunch) with the best company, dancing swing also with the best people and going to a friends' concert in the street. Another epic night by Pussy Malanga. You can spot some happy faces of mine over there. :)

On a side note: I was asked to scrapbook a sobrassada. That is the weirdest thing I have been ever asked to scrapbook but also the funniest. It case you are curious.

I hope you have a lovely day! ^^
Hugs

Sneak Peak!

Si tenéis alguna pregunta, no dudéis en hacérmela!

Un abrazo

Viaje a Japón | Travel Journal. Parte I

Scroll down for english version.

No había muchas turbulencias! Y...

Nos vemos en la segunda parte!
Un abrazo!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two weeks from now I was coming back from Japan. Still, when I turn these pages and look at them it happens two things at the same time: one, my heart jumps and two; I sigh. This is basically, that I LOVED this trip and I miss Japan every single day.
Before I go on, I have to state the following: I am coming back. I still do not know how or when but I will. We'll see.
I love the country. So beautiful, silent and quiet. Japanese people they are so kind, respectful, friendly, tidy, clean (so pretty too!) They are nice even though they are saying no (in their way...)
Tokyo was fascinating. For me, a place to live. I just love that city <3
Osaka, man... Do not ever believe anybody that tells you it is not worthy comparing it to Tokyo. It is an amazing city. Looks like a sci fi place with small restaurants on the streets everywhere with neon lights and lot of people. Looks like a very cool sub-world.
Kioto, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Kobe, Takayama...  A lot of memories. Many of them are here. Meet my travel journal.

I divided the whole information in several post beacuse I made more than 20 pages on the go. That's a number! :D

Although I photographed the pages I made during the flight back to Barcelona, once I was at home, I prefered to preserve the original photos as they were on Instagram. They are not perfect but they keep the essence.
I bought the cover of my journal at Happie Scrappie and I trimmed down  my own pages from scrapbooking paper. Most of them white and craft.
I made the first two spreads at home, hours before heading to the airport. I also stamped randomly some stamps all over the journal pages.
The next two pages were made on the long flight to Tokyo. That is when I realized my black ink was almost finished! That is why you see some of the parts almost faded.
I drew the mount Fuji and the map by myself. We were not having many turbulences at that moment! :D

It was my first time outside Europe so, I was a little afraid of a 13h flight but everything went quite fast because I could get some sleep. That was not the case for the flight back to Barcelona (insert Munch scream emoji here)

We were so lucky. My friends had a japanese friend there, Yayoi. She was super kind and friendly and showed us incredible resturants that served amazing food. I have to admit that I am not a big fan of the japanese food (I know I am so rare) but I loved everyplace. Food quality is superb overthere...
My friend Roser was the official food taster of the trip. She took photos of every single meal and took notes of everything we ate. I asked her to make a post about the food. I will let you know if she finally can do it.

The photo on Neon Lights pages is from Shibuya. I loved that place. I could be hours standing there watching the people passing by.

While we were on Japan we met two Typhons. We were very lucky though. The first one, was passing by the first night we were there so we just got completely wet on our way to the apartment (including all my clothes inside the suitcase) The body of the typhon stroke while we were sleeping the jet lag.
The second Typhon appeared while we were in Kurama. Just picture the situation: Imagine yourself inside an Onsen -natural spa-  surrounded by mountains inside almost boling water and a little cold rain pouring on your face while you see the trees moving and the only thing you hear is the sound of the leafs rubbing against each other. (Sigh)

Finally, the last pages are from one of the most funny nights we spent at Tokyo. We improvised the night and we ended up in a karaoke room with our friend and two japanese friends of her. Hilarious.

Love that everything is here to remember it and making me feel happy and sad at the same time.
See you on the next part if you want to join me!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs

Project Life:: Agosto Dos

Me contestó: Para ti! <3

Un abrazo

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One more week of August. As I promised, for my next post I will group some weeks. I hope I will catch on sharing soon!
This spread is pretty minimalist and I have to say I love it; because of the overall tone and especially because of the memories. My cactus says: "Life could be always like this" Indeed, my friend.
The top left corner card is actually an artwork by Olya Schmidt. She  sent it to me after I commented her on Instagram that I love these mussels! My... She is so generous. I am so thankful <3 I am loving this social network more and more everyday. You get to meet so many persons more directly than any other place on the internet.
Such a fan.
The only card here is by Kelly Purkey and the embellishments are by Studio Calico.
I hope you have a lovely day. Much love!

Project LIfe:: Agosto Uno

Volviendo al Project Life!

Recordando agosto... Esto es lo bueno del Project Life! Me encanta poder volver a recordar buenos momentos.

I had this spread and the next prepared in two different posts so I am leaving this like that. But I will group the following spreads. I hope I will catch up on sharing this way.
Here I am showing one week of august. I have loved remembering it while I was editing this post. This is one of the great things about Project Life. :)
For this spread I went back to my roots and I made my own card with stamps and another one with alphas. This is one of my favorite moments.
The stamps are by Kelly Purkey and the cards by Studio Calico.
I hope you have an amazing day!

Mini Álbum:: Vir y Xavi

Project Life break just to show you this commisioned work I made some months ago.
First of all, I wanted to tell you that it is almost a miracle these photos exist. :O
I deleted the file that contanied the photos. And then I went stright to the recycle bin and I emptied it. Just like that. Ninja style.
 Goodbye.
I realized about that, one week later one day when I was in the bed. I woke up like a mummy and I went to check out the computer. And yes. completed deleted.
After my mental flagellation I went to facebook and I exposed my misery. And that was when I discovered that computers don't eliminate files! Files are replaced for others. My cousin Dr in physics explained me that afterwards so I believed him :D
So you can download a program and it searches the files if the place where they were has not been replaced with another file.
All these years believing I was eliminating things...
I couldn't recover all of them so here you have what the searcher found.
Not bad! :D
I went a little crazy with some of the colors in some pages but some of them are my favorite pages ever. Like the one with the sunburst and the one that says La Latina.

I hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by here.

Un abrazo
